Across various Taiwanese universities, tech industry leaders like Patrick Pan from Meta and Ted Chen from TUL Corp shared their insights with graduating students, encouraging them to approach challenges with optimism and resilience. At National Taiwan Normal University, Academia Sinica’s Lee Fong-mao delivered a unique commencement speech, urging students to explore unconventional paths and embrace their individuality.

However, not all graduation ceremonies proceeded without controversy. At National Taiwan University, students protested against the university president for not addressing incidents of discriminatory remarks. They boycotted the ceremony, highlighting the importance of fostering inclusivity and respect within academic institutions.
