In memory of ITWC CEO Fawn Annan

In Canada’s IT sector, a significant voice Ms. Fawn Annan, the CEO of IT World Canada, passed suddenly this morning, and the company is in deep sorrow. Our thoughts are with her family.
Beginning in June 2010, Fawn served as IT World Canada’s (ITWC) inaugural president and then CEO. When the previous owner Michael Atkins retired, she became one of the co-owners and was instrumental in giving the business a “second life” after it had been destroyed by the internet, like so many other magazines. Fawn battled valiantly to maintain its position as the voice of the Canadian IT industry and return it to profitability.
