Fortescue Metals Group Ltd., based in Australia, is expected to become the world’s only major mining corporation to have women serving as CEO and CFO.

Christine Morris, former CFO of Maersk Drilling A/S, will start in the same role at Fortescue in July, the world’s fourth-largest iron ore producer said in a statement. She will report to Fiona Hick, the CEO who took over for Elizabeth Gaines in February of this year.
