Amazon CEO’s salary went up but compensation went down, here’s how

Jassy also witnessed an increase in the “All Other Compensation” component. In 2021, he received $34,381; in 2022, he received $9,81,223.
Stock options are granted for a period of ten years.
The $212 million given to Jassy in 2021 will be vested over a ten-year period. According to Business Insider, the Amazon CEO vested over $32 million in 2022. According to the article, Jassy is set to vest close to $19 million this year.
According to the documents, former Amazon CEO and one of the world’s wealthiest men still receives a paycheck from the firm. Bezos, Amazon’s executive chairman, received $1.68 million in remuneration in 2022. Bezos’s first pay was $81,840. Bezos received $1.6 million under the “All Other Compensation” component. Surprisingly, Bezos has received the same amount of pay from the company he started for the last three years. In addition, Bezos has not received any stock options in the last three years.
