Tiffanny Gates, a former Novetta CEO, and Accenture executive has joined Capitol Meridian Partners as an operating partner. Capitol Meridian Partners is a private investment business focused on the government and related commercial markets.
Gates joins CMP after assisting with the merger of Novetta into Accenture’s federal business, which bought Novetta in 2021.
Gates joined Novetta as CEO in 2017 and later served as senior managing director of Accenture Federal Services’ national security division until she retired from AFS in the spring when she joined the Novetta board of management.
“Strategic deployment of technology into the government market is critical to enabling agencies to meet their specific mission objectives,” Gates stated in a press statement issued Thursday. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to assist emerging companies in bringing their technology to the defence and national security sectors.”
CMP is one of three members of the investment consortium that bought LMI, a six-decade-old government consultancy firm that was turned into a for-profit enterprise as a result of the acquisition.
CMP was created in 2021 by Adam Palmer and Brooke Coburn, both Carlyle Group alumni.
