According to reports in the media on Monday, Boeing CEO David L. Calhoun said that his business supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Make in India” plan and that it will play a significant part in the swift growth of the nation’s commercial aviation market.
Following his conversation with PM Modi about his state visit to the US, Calhoun remarked.
According to him, Boeing is pleased to support India’s mission of preparedness and modernization, which will strengthen the country’s armed forces.
The CEO stressed that we support Prime Minister Modi’s Make in India initiative, with more than 5,000 Indians working for Boeing in the country in innovative roles and pursuing high-caliber careers.
Additionally, he emphasized that Boeing’s expanding investments in India not only solidify the company’s link with the nation but also pave the way for a more extensive US-India economic cooperation.
According to sources, Boeing is now assisting India with its business agreement and recently held discussions regarding its recently announced service contracts in the country as well as the completion of Air India’s purchase of 290 new Boeing aircraft.
