CBRE is welcoming Kai Mende as the new CEO of its advisory business in Germany. Mende’s been a familiar face, having managed CBRE’s capital markets division in Berlin since 2017. He’s stepping into some big shoes, following Peter Schreppel, who’s returning to his role as head of international investment. Meanwhile, Richard Dakin, the head honcho at CBRE’s European investment banking and debt & structured finance, is gearing up for retirement after an impressive 42-year career.

Over at Greystone, they’ve brought on board Alex Chang as senior managing director. Chang’s got quite the track record, having overseen a whopping $500 billion in securitisations during his time at Freddie Mac Multifamily.

Sienna Investment Managers has a new head of asset and property management for Benelux: Ben ten Napel. His experience at Cromwell Property and Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance sets him up well for the role.

At Outpost Management, Niall Sheridan steps into a brand-new role as director of investments. With his expertise from Cain International, Hines, and Deutsche Bank, he’s sure to make waves in the industry.

Spearmint Energy has bolstered its team with three new managing directors: Michael Gray, Rafia Merchant, and Jack Clark III. Gray brings his insights from Barclays Bank, while Merchant boasts over two decades of experience in energy and commodities finance. Clark’s background at NextEra Energy Resources gives him a solid foundation for his role in regulatory affairs.

Claudia Husemann is taking the reins as director of communications and corporate social responsibility for the US at Ferrovial. Her previous stints at Silicon Labs and AMD make her a valuable addition to the team.
