Eddie Bright Jr., the global CEO of ApTask Global Workforce Solutions, has been named a 2024 DE&I Influencer

ApTask Global Workforce Solutions, an innovative African American- and veteran-owned staffing and professional development firm, recently shared some exciting news. Their Global CEO, Eddie Bright Jr., has been honored as a 2024 DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Influencer.

Eddie Bright Jr. rejoined ApTask in 2023 as the majority owner and global CEO after a successful tenure as president and global CEO of HCM Staffing and Consulting Group. Known for his deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Bright has been a powerful advocate for creating inclusive workplaces.

You might have heard Bright mention this before: “Truly inclusive companies are 21-42% more profitable, and that’s a fact. Diversity isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also a business imperative. Each person possesses unique talents and skills, and it’s our responsibility to identify, cultivate, and nurture those abilities to achieve greatness.”

Under Bright’s leadership, ApTask has launched several impactful initiatives. One of the standout programs is the Veteran Hub Program, designed to support active-duty personnel and veterans in their transition to civilian careers. ApTask has also partnered with West Side High School, providing 12 students with essential workforce skills. Impressively, ten of these students have graduated and now work as full-time recruiters at ApTask, forming their own division within the company, GenZ Recruiting.

Bright has also taken significant steps to enhance workplace accessibility and belonging. He appointed an executive specifically to promote inclusive hiring practices for individuals with both visible and invisible disabilities.

As Taj Haslani, Founder of ApTask Group of Companies, put it, “Eddie Bright Jr. is a true DE&I champion, committed to creating environments where every person feels valued, respected, and empowered.”

It’s clear that under Bright’s leadership, ApTask is not just thriving but also setting new standards for genuine inclusivity. His unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion continues to drive the company forward, ensuring that ApTask remains at the forefront of positive change in the workforce.
