Boeing CEO says fixing supply chain constraints is ‘frustratingly slow’.

Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun said on Friday that progress in resolving supply chain issues has been “frustratingly slow,” despite the fact that airline demand for planes has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
According to Calhoun, Boeing has experienced advances in certain aspects of its supply chain, such as engine forgings and castings.
However, the ability of aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and European rival Airbus to meet client demand for new jets will be limited “five years from now,” he noted.
“We’ve got to be smart about how we manage supply against that demand spike,” Calhoun said at a Bernstein conference
