Another ‘CEO change’ is made by Wipro, but not in India: Introducing the new chief executive

It seems Wipro is shuffling its leadership deck once again, with Malay Joshi stepping into the role of CEO for Americas 1. With a focus on public sector industries, client satisfaction, and revenue expansion, Joshi brings a wealth of experience to the table. His tenure with Wipro spans an impressive 28 years, during which he’s held diverse leadership positions across different sectors and regions.

Joshi’s appointment underscores Wipro’s commitment to nurturing talent from within, as he transitions from his previous role as senior vice president. His track record in driving successful enterprise transformations and ensuring consistent revenue growth speaks volumes about his capabilities.

Based out of Wipro’s New York City office, Joshi is poised to lead Americas 1 into its next phase of growth. His educational background, including a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Engineering and completion of prestigious executive programs at Harvard Business School and Stanford University, further solidify his readiness for this pivotal role.

As Wipro continues its journey of evolution and expansion, all eyes are on Joshi to steer Americas 1 towards greater heights, while staying true to the company’s core values and vision.
