BVR Subrahmanyam states that the “Theme of NITI Aayog’s meeting is important because India is at a take-off moment”. At an interview after the 8th NITI Aayog’s council meeting BVR Subrahmanyam said that the theme of the meeting was ‘Viksit Bharat’ meaning a developed country . Prime minister Narendra Modi said that he will make India a developed country by the year 2047. ‘India is not only the largest country by population but India is also the fifth-largest economy in the world and will soon be the third largest economy in a few years’ says BVR Subrahmanyam
