Former Microsoft executive Ruchit Garg made waves with his decision to leave behind a lucrative career at the tech giant to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations. Inspired by his grandfather, a farmer in Uttar Pradesh, Garg is dedicated to empowering small-holder farmers through Harvesting, likening the initiative to a modern-day Amul for agriculture. Beyond his business pursuits, Garg is also known for his voracious appetite for knowledge, nurtured despite financial constraints in his youth, propelling him to prestigious platforms like Harvard University, where he now participates as a panelist.
